Workforce Development Board Seeks Public Comments on VI State Plan
The Virgin Islands State Workforce Development Board (VISWDB) has drafted an update to their Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Unified State Plan. WIOA requires Governors to submit four-year plans for the state’s workforce development strategy and an update every two years. The Unified Plan is designed to help job seekers access education, training, support and employment in good paying jobs, in-demand jobs and to match employers with skilled workers.
The plan is posted online and available for public comment via email through March 9, 2022. Click here to review the plan.

Comments collected through the public comment period will be considered and revisions will be incorporated into the final State Plan, as appropriate.
